FW2010 NYC Fashion Week Preview Part 1

That’s the sound of happy I made when everything started to come together for our NYC Fashion Week Debut this Monday at the Green Shows! Inspired by Audrey & Origami, we’ve been developing the new styles since August. The line will be available for sale next Fall (and preorders this spring/summer), and is going to be produced in pretty pinks, browns, and fire engine red, but since my fabrics are custom made for production, color had to be left up to the accessories for the show… so I had lots of fun collaborating and showing off some of my favorite artists! Handcrafted jewelry by Objets D’envy, Shoes by Cri de Coeur, Origami headpieces by Laura Morrish, and Origami men’s ties from Kogure Sachiko.

Congrats on your Fashion Week show, Leanne! These coats look adorable and I can’t wait to see more about them. And I know my boyfriend has been waiting anxiously for his coat ever since I got mine!

Leanne, the new coats are absolutely lovely! I think it is great that some of the styles vaguely remind me of this past season’s but they are still new and fresh! I can already tell that I may be tempted into pre-ordering a nicer longer coat to offset the VC peacoat that I already have and love.
